Thank you for visiting
Here is a brief biography:
Prieur is a professional freelance photo journalist and lecturer. He had a full and adventurous life while working for several magazines and publications in South Africa. His work brought him in touch with the less savory side of life, which moved him to take an interest in humanitarian work.
He became involved with The House, a shelter for destitute girls in the slums of Johannesburg. Prieur and his wife Ingrid took over the management of the shelter to care for the young women. They retired in 2014, and nowadays Prieur spends his time writing novels.
Prieur is now 81 years old, and his latest book, To Drink From My Well, is about his extraordinary life-changing experiences in Cambodia.
